“How many more shops are you going to now?” I asked Maya, tired from carrying some of her shopping bags, which was a lot.

She was also holding a bunch of bags in her hands as she walked fast.

“Oh come on na Sam. Don’t be such a child. We have 5 more shops to go to." she says as she keeps walking fast.

I tried catching up to her, with a huff and sigh in defeat. I kept following her from behind as there was nothing to convince her to go home.

I managed to catch up to her after a few minutes.

A few minutes later

We entered a clothes shop and she went straight running to the dress section as I watched her looking at the dresses.

I managed to find a spot where there was a seat for me to sit down.

As I plop down on the chair, I gently put the shopping bags down making sure it's not in anyone's way.

A few minutes later I heard the sound of the door that someone had entered. As I turned my head I saw her walking inside, my heart leaped out of my chest as I remembered our last encounter where I teased her for staring at me.

However, I meant every word, especially that she is my Pari, and, will forever be.

My head spins with questions, should I confess to her music feelings? Will her parents accept me to be with their daughter? Does she feel the same way? What if she doesn't like me back?

Then a soft voice breaks my trails of thoughts.

I stood up and turned to see Kriti looking breath taking as ever. It's first time I saw her wearing something causul. Her wavy hair pulled back into a ponytail and she was wearing a shirt and blue jeans with heeled sandals with a light brown coat and a blue scarf keeping her warm.

"Samir?" "What are you doing here?" Kriti asked me, with confusion plastered all over on her face.

"Oh, hey Kriti. I wasn't expecting to see you. But I'm glad I did" I replied with a slight looking pleasing grin.

Her face harderns a bit

"Mr Sharma not again. I told you to stop this!" She spoke with a serious tone.

"You can't change my mind, Pari" I said with a slight smirk playing on my lips gracefully.

"Ugh! I hate you!" She says as she slightly raised her voice.

"I love you too, Pari" I whispered with a wink at her.

Then, I noticed her cheeks raised to a nude pink and she quickly averts her mahogany eyes away from mine.

"What's the matter? Cat got your tongue, Pari" I teased her with a trumiph smirk.

"No! Never! I'm leaving. Tell Maya I said hi" She quickly said and ran off.

I couldn't help but chuckle and smile to myself from how cute she is. My heart pounding.
